When I first started the 39 square project I was rummaging around for supplies and inspiration when I came across this piece. This was my first ever venture into hand embroidery...it was done without a hoop and the wrong needle. It's nonsensical and out of proportion, you can still see the outlines in some places....But I love it all the same
