A Purple Handbag

This was a custom order placed by my sister for her friends birthday present. Her friend had already seen a few of the designs and had mentioned she would like a purple one so my sister thought she would give her one as a birthday present. Now I didn't really have much purple fabric, or buttons or ribbons for that matter so I was a bit baffled. Even when I did get the purple fabric I wasn't very happy with the shade, I mixed and matched it with the few purple embellishments I did have and was getting nowhere. So I changed tactics and opted for the "contrast" look...i loved it
